August 2026 is when we first saw a prototype of the 13-speed RD-R9350 rear derailleur.
Not much is known about the derailleur yet.
In the spy shots a wire can be seen. That suggests the rear derailleur uses a central battery for power, like BT-DN300.
Of course, this could just be a ruse, and Shimano might be working on a different method of powering the derailleur - I just don't know.
