Can I use a GRX crank with a road or MTB front derailleur?

The answer is.. it's complicated. The GRX chain line moved 2.5mm outwards compared to a traditional road chain line.

While the official answer is that you must also use a GRX front derailleur, some users have reported being able to use a road front derailleur without issues.
