Inline 2-port Junction

Inline 2-port Junction

Non-series components EW-JC302

The EW-JC302 2-port inline junction allows you to connect two EW-SD300 electric wires to each other.

This comes in use in several situations:

For one, it is a good method to extend an EW-SD300 electric wire when the maximum length wire (1600mm) just won't do. Wiring shifters to the battery, for example, requires a relatively long wire.

You can also use the inline JC302 junction to (temporarily) connect your wireless shifters to the battery using the front derailleur wire. At the time of writing, this is the only- way to update 12-speed wireless shifters.

Just like most other two-port and four-port junctions, the EW-JC302 is just a 'dumb' junction. There is no logic, no firmware. All it does is connect two wires.
